This makes me want to both cackle maniacally, and have paranoid delusions that the government are Van Eck phreaking my brain. I like that in a scientific breakthrough.

This is one of those areas of research that I have mixed feelings about. This is a really neat step that will surely lead to amazing advancements in almost every aspect of life... Once it's been used for unspeakable evil for a while.

I bet that the UK feels silly putting CCTV cameras everywhere now that they know they could have just locked everyone into an fMRI and gotten a complete picture of the entire country.
