Paper Clips made me weep like a woman. Overall a good documentary- very moving. Had a slow start, but I'm glad I gave it a shot.

I forgot about that. I second that movie for sure. For those interested, it's about a town in the south (Tennessee?) that has almost no Jewish people, and as part of a lesson on the Holocaust, the kids came up with the idea of trying to visualize 6,000,000 of anything, and set out to collect paper clips. It caught on, they got nice letters and contributions, people wept. Good stuff.

I would be surprised if someone hasn't seen it yet, but the Big Lewbowski is available on Netflix streaming.

When I visited New York last year, I was at a friend's apartment with a bunch of people.  It came up in conversation that one of the girls there had never seen The Big Lebowski.  The conversation stopped, the host got up, grabbed the DVD off his shelf, and put it on.  We watched the entire movie, and then when it finished picked up our conversation where it had left off as if there had been no interruption.

The Office all of it, deserves to be watched.
The Big Lebowski.
Step Brothers
Full Metal Jacket
A Clockwork Orange
South Park seasons 1-9
Pans Labyrinth
The Usual Suspects.

I have 96 movies and series in my instant cue. Netflix is my favorite part about owning an Xbox, other than the video games.

My son went through a SMBSS phase (he is 5). The show is embarrassing.

I just saw that last night MadPiper, and got extremely excited.

For those of you that are history dorks / into the cultural implications of a 'modernized' state, I can't recommend "The Architecture of Doom" enough.  Sure the name is pretty corny, but I watched this earlier today and was blown away by it.  It was nice since its subject matter kind of intersects with what I'm studying right now, but I think it should be enjoyable to others that aren't entirely familiar with the Third Reich as well.

I just finished watching this, and it was outstanding. I highly recommend it. Great old video from within the Third Reich along with a detailed view of how Nazis thought.

(only available on Netflix streaming until 21/4/2010)
