Excellent ton by Smith yesterday in very trying conditions, both game and weather. Today should be pretty rugged - it's 8:50 am and it's just gone 31 degrees.

Hey everyone* the world cup kicks off tomorrow with the Australia vs England match. Promises to be entertaining, if the previous tri-series was any indicator.

England vs Australia (Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne) Saturday February 14th 2015
Australia won by 111 runs

England starts with all the tenacity and will to win that they always display when they go somewhere nice and warm where they can work on their tans at this time of year.

Yeah, what started out as a fairly standard match between rivals turned very ridiculous about halfway through the Aussie innings and didn't let up until that final English wicket. The look on Taylor's face at the end said it all, really.
