This is the part of the forum to have serious conversations, debate and share your work that you are seeking serious critique of (art, lit, whatever.) It is also the one part of the forum with slightly stricter rules than the rest of the forum because of this.

If you are sharing work, it will be open to critique from anyone and you can address the criticisms reasonably. People are free to criticise negatively or positively, but only add to a thread if you have something constructive to say. No dismissals or personal insults.

In the debates and serious discussions, try to stay on topic. Dont try to switch an argument about global warming to US foreign policy for instance. Or one about why Christians are evil to the rise of communism. If a different argument rises within a thread, start a new topic to discuss it.

Don't carry arguments or flame wars from one thread to another.

This isn't a place for personal threads. If you really want to discuss your personal stuff with everyone, throw it in GD so it can be light and joke filled.

Jokes are acceptable if appropriate and part of a post adding something to a discussion, but let's keep on topic. If you don't have something to add, don't post obviously.

This is a more heavily modded section. So posts may get deleted.

I am going to get a midi file for the Phantom of the Opera theme, and have it play whenever people are in this forum.
