I took oball's tutorial from the original thread and stuck it in the first post. Incidentally I hope noone minds that I made a new thread. The other one was pretty long and old.

Upon starting a new tournament, FUMBBL provides a few variant rules to choose from:

Quote
Sneaky Git functions like Guard on foul assists.
+1 on the foul roll if the fouling player is not interfered.
Right Stuff prevents the Tackle skill when blocked.
Piling On rerolls do not get modified by skills.

What do you guys think?  Should we use any of these?

I would love to play bloodbowl again, because I love having my hopes smashed.

These look pretty good, Sneaky Git and the +1 on fouling make sense, the Right Stuff change makes halfling teams a little more competitive and Piling on was really too strong when combined with stuff like Claw and Bumblefuck.

I'm thinking either Dark Elves or maybe something a bit weirder, like another go at Slann. But probably Dark Elves.

Now for the hardest part, figuring out what to put on their tombstones.

If they're as hilariously inept as their predecessors, I can't see how anyone could possibly object.  Except perhaps you.

I reckon I'll play Chaos Dwarf, as I've not used them before.

They weren't inept so much as freakishly unlucky with no apothecary to help them out. their coach was the inept one.

http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&team_id=678207 I will use this Wood Elf team. It's the only one I had ready to go without any games played.
