The man we (hopefully already) know and love for poignantly pointing out the behavior of the media as well as summarizing current affairs in the UK and across the globe in a brilliantly hilarious manner.

His Twitter or his articles for the Guardian. In my eyes this man can do no wrong barring stopping what he's doing entirely.

Well, while Brooker is personified hilarity, lets not say he can do no wrong. His new haircut is obviously a crime against god and man. I put it down to post marrying The Huq euphoria and forgive him though.

I put it down to post marrying The Huq euphoria and forgive him though.

The Huq spawned a nipper last month, named Covey Brooker Huq.

They both look exhausted.

If he has a fault it's that his fetish for Indian women is rather too proudly displayed in his fiction, like Tarantino's creepy foot thing.

Black Mirror has been officially renewed for a second 'season' despite 322 complaints to Channel 4 for the episode about the Prime Minister having to fuck a pig on live television.

I think my avatar adequately conveys my feelings on this matter.

Here's hoping the pig can turn the tables next season.

To be fair, I could believe that over three hundred morons complained to the BBC about a Channel 4 show.

This was on my facebook front page today:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PezlFNTGWv4" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PezlFNTGWv4</a>

A fun game to play is to run down the checklist the psychologist says that makes it most likely to see a copycat and compare it to coverage today.

And by fun, I of course mean depressing.

Time for a change of pace, Brooker's written a piss-take on modern crime-drama starring the guy who played Batiatus in Spartacus amongst too many other roles to count.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15IRXKn9LSU" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15IRXKn9LSU</a>

This started in the UK today/yesterday and I am very keen to watch it.

It was good, and funny, but not quite up to his Black Mirror standard.

Imagine a Leslie Neilson film, but shot like a gritty UK drama.

I really don't think anything will come close to Black Mirror for a while. How does it compare to Dead Set?

Having now watched the first episode I can definitely agree this is no Black Mirror, it's funny as all geddout in its own way though. The jokes were so on the money. That bit with the cake tent was brilliant.

I was pretty disappointed with it. Not really sure what it was going for, not really enough going on for a spoof. still had a handful of good jokes. Thought maybe the format might have suited a cleverer satire really, or have committed more to the wacky spoof idea... the best jokes were when they got really absurd with it (like Oldman putting it all together at the end.)

The worst were the constant "hey this is a tv show and we KNOW IT" jokes, damn there was a lot of them.

I give it two Leslie Nielsons out of five.
