I liked the bit where the girl liberated a city and won the undying respect of all the subservient brown people who wilfully chose to continue their lives of indentured labour under her flag because they all admired her so much with her long blonde hair and pale skin. Also she talks brown people language. I've been under the impression that she's "liberated" them to make herself feel better about having a slave army, while trying not to realise that a lifetime of indoctrination doesn't just disappear when saying "you're free now". Am I giving them too much credit in assuming that we're supposed to consider Daenerys a hypocrite for this? With that army and the dragons it seems like she should be able to saunter in and start running things, so something has to go wrong, right? The army will actually realise what freedom means and go off to farm soy or something? And I haven't read the books, so please don't actually tell me what happens.

No doubt, but that article seemed to be mainly aimed at bankers in the UK, where I think it is still possible to go to uni without being saddled with a lifetime of crippling debt.
Less so as of last year when they tripled fees.

I didn't want to buy Black Ops II because it's not very good, but all my housemates bought it and now I have bought it as well.
If you're living with people, why do you all need copies of the same game?

I couldn't read a whole book on the iPad, but it's great for pdfs or articles or the like. A thing I discovered after having one for weeks, and that may just be because I'm an idiot, is that if you're looking at an article in Safari, click the "reader" icon on the URL bar and it strips out everything but the text and relevant photos, much more pleasant.
For movies, or TV shows, I tend to acquire them through more dubious means, and the iPad doesn't natively play .avi files, so I bought an app called AV Player HD which has been great for any format I throw at it. You can transfer files to it when you sync with iTunes. I bought some comics for mine too, which if you have a retina display (I don't) would be even better.
I have a subscription to the Guardian iPad edition, which is pretty cool, and you should check out a game called Slice.
